The Skills Bootcamp in Passport to Care Including Clinical Skills is a comprehensive 15 week programme designed to introduce participants to essential topics in care, supporting the knowledge required for the Care Certificate. This Skills Bootcamp includes clinical skills training, ensuring that learners gain practical, hands on experience alongside theoretical knowledge.

Upon completion and achievement of the Skills Bootcamp, learners will have several opportunities to advance their careers:

  • Upskill in current role by enhancing exisiting skills and knowledge.
  • Apply for relevant jobs with the comprehensive training received, you’ll be well equipped to apply for a variety of roles within the health and social care sector.
  • Progress to an accelerated apprenticeship by taking advantage of the opportunity to fast-track your career by enrolling in an accelerated apprenticeship.

Entry Requirements

  • Age 19 or over
  • Have not started or completed a Skills Bootcamp this financial year
  • Have the right to work in the UK
  • Have lived in the UK for the last 3 years
  • Unemployed and looking for a role in Leadership & Management or an accelerated apprenticeship
  • If you are employed and upskilling, your employer may be asked to contribute dependent on your circumstances
