Throughout the day, you’ll prepare a selection of iconic street food favourites, including fresh Vietnamese summer rolls, delicate Japanese gyoza, flavour-packed Mexican tacos, and crispy Indian samosas. Along the way, you’ll learn the essential skills and techniques behind each dish, from folding and rolling to seasoning and cooking.
You’ll enjoy a selection of your freshly made creations for lunch, giving you the opportunity to sample the different flavours and techniques, while taking the remaining dishes home to share with family and friends.
Whether you’re looking to expand your culinary repertoire or simply enjoy trying something new, this practical course will give you the confidence to recreate these street food classics at home. Assessment Methods
There are no formal assessments for this course, however, you will receive full instruction on how to create all of the products and a little recipe book to take home so you can carry on perfecting your techniques.
Progression Options
UCS College Group and Taunton College offer a range of adult learning courses at The Quantock Restaurant. You could progress to Knead to Know Bread, Midweek Meals for Busy Lives, Street Eats, or BBQ Bonanza and Summer Salads.
